AIT's Internet Education and Research Laboratory (intERLab) develops mobile wireless network technology for emergency communication. Prof. Dr. Kanchana Kanchanasut, director of the Asian Institute of Technology’s Internet Education and Research Laboratory (intERLab), has developed mobile wireless network technology to be used during emergency in remote areas. Project DUMBO stands for Digital Ubiquitous Mobile Broadband OLSR. (OSLR is a networking term meaning Optimized Link State Routing.) The project is a collaboration from three main research groups: AIT’s IntERLab, INRIA (France), and the WIDE Project (Japan).
