Expo Milano 2015: “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” The World Exposition was originated about
150 years ago in the United Kingdom during the industrial revolution. In the early period, the World Expo was held alternately between England and France. Later, the World Expo spread to other countries in the World, and became the venue of many innovations e.g. The Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, high-speed trains, cars, submarine, etc. Thailand first joined the World Expo during King Mongkut’s time. This year, the World Expo was held in Milan, Italy from May 1 to October 31, under the theme, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.”
