People of many races under the graciousness of King Taksin the Great After Ayuttaya was conquered by the Burmese army in 1767, King Taksin the Great led people of many races – Indians, Cambodians, Laotians, Chinese and Portuguese – to build the new capital city, Krung Thon Buri. These people had settled and formed their communities that have made Bangkok a unique cultural-rich city. This story is written to commemorate the 250-year anniversary of Krung Thon Buri.
