Four sacred ponds in suphan buri There have been many water resources of which the water was used in Royal ceremonies from the past to the present. Among the most famous resources are the “four sacred ponds in suphan buri.” Their names are Kaew, Ka, Yommana and Kes. Water from the four sacred ponds has been used in royal ceremonies since the Ayutthaya period. In the Rattanakosin period, King Rama 5 visited the four ponds. Nowadays, the four sacred ponds are renovated and reserved as a national archeological site.

“แหล งน้ ำศั กดิ์ สิ ทธิ์ ” ที่ ใช ในพระราชพิ ธี ของพระมหากษั ตริ ย ตั้ งแต อดี ตมาจนถึ งป จจุ บั นนั้ น มี อยู หลายแหล ง ซึ่ งบางแห งก็ เป นแหล งน้ ำใหม ที่ นำมาใช เพิ่ มเติ มขึ้ นในสมั ยหลั งเมื่ อไม นาน มานี้ แต สำหรั บแหล งน้ ำศั กดิ์ สิ ทธิ์ ตามโบราณราชประเพณี ที่ ใช สื บต อกั นมาอย างยาวนานที่ สุ ดแห งหนึ่ ง คงได แก แหล ง น้ ำศั กดิ์ สิ ทธิ์ ที่ มี ชื่ อว า “สระศั กดิ์ สิ ทธิ์ ทั้ งสี่ ” แห งเมื องสุ พรรณบุ รี ที่ มี เรื่ องราวและหลั กฐานทางประวั ติ ศาสตร ที่ น าสนใจอย างยิ่ ง
